Qazi Abdur Rahim, film director of ImagineIndia International Film Festival, a cinema event dedicated to the Asian production in general and Indian in particular. 

A huge number of films, sections, frames and short films, have passed through his eyes. In total, 96 films had participated this year in the contest, divided into 21 sections screened during the two weeks of the festival, with the help of 23 members of the International Jury. Twelve films from 10 different nations competed to win the “Chakra de Oro” in the Official Section. To this, other competitive parameters joined, documentaries, short films, film schools and themes related to women, love, nature, migration, and a cycle of the 50 years of cinema of Bangladesh.

This year, the event paid tribute to the Indian film director Buddhadeb Dasgupta, recently deceased. In addition, Turkey went as a guest country.

Myriam Ballesteros, president of MIA ( Mujeres en la industria de la animación), graduated  in journalism and studied film, television and animation at New York University, BBC, EAVE, CARTOON etc. She founded MB Producciones and IMIRA Entertainment and has worked as Showrunner, Producer and Director directing, among others, the animation series "LUCKY FRED", "SANDRA DETECTIVE DE CUENTOS", "LOLA Y VIRGINA" etc ... co-produced with RTVE, RAI, TF1, TVC , FRANCE 3, DISNEY, NICKELODEON etc .. which have been sold in more than 100 countries and awarded at Festivals such as CIFF, CARTOONS ON THE BAY .. as well as the short films “LA SUPERRABIETA” “LA LYENDA DE UN HOMBRE MALO” and “ MY BEST FRIEND.
