As a child, I was looking forward to Sunday because it was the day I went to the movies. I was more interested in what was happening on the screen than in real life. It seemed more exciting and fun. Then I thought I wanted to be on the screen when I was older. I wanted to be Gary Cooper as "Just in the face of danger", John Wayne surrounded by animals in Africa or Vittorio Gassman falling in love with the girls on the Italian beaches and getting the audience excited as so many great actors did with me. Later, when I was able to experience direct communication with the public on a stage that conveys the emotions that you feel, I was sure that the actor is the most fascinating profession that exists.
