I am Elena Ballesteros, but I am also a thousand and one styles when wearing my clothes, different ways of blending in with the various types of people and environments in which I move, I am many ways of getting around the world... it is impossible to settle for just being me same. I need to be and inhabit extreme and varied experiences and emotions; and there is no better way to put it into practice than with my profession, that is why from a very young age I feel that my place is here, this is what I know how to do and this is what I want to do. My body is my tool, that's why I try to take care of it and keep it active and trained, and my personal life is my private rehearsals, the mirror has always been my most attentive audience, and the stage is the place where I take refuge, where I can satisfy my desire for give the world what I am, what I have... the art of theater for me is the art of creating illusions and of moving and stirring the inside of those who believe in them.
